Hi Kulwant, there is a lot about you on your blog, but even then may you please introduce yourself in few words.
I am from a small city called Fatehabad in Haryana, India. I am a fun loving guy who appreciates the nature and love to see great photographs in my free time. I love to work while listening songs. My hand stops when music stops.
When you started Blogging?
I came to know about blogging in 2010 when one friend of mine came to my home after 3 years. He started showing me his blogspot blogs and told me about Google Keyword Research Tool. For me it was very interesting because I always wanted to have my own website.
In December 2010 I got job in a MNC as ASIC Verification Engineer and starting living life of a job person. In April 2011 I started one blogspot blog and wrote around 7-8 copy paste article and then left that blog forever. Biggest reason to quit that blog was, copy paste thing was not giving me that much happiness.
Getting into blogging is a very funny story with me.
One day (in September 2011) I was checking Godaddy and I liked one domain too much. I made my account there and then reached at checkout option. But having a credit card was a big issue for me. There was no friend around me who could help me with credit card. Suddenly I took my CitiBank card and filled the details.
And whooaaaaaaaaaa !!
That card worked and domain was mine. So on the same day I book another domain www.kulwantnagi.com. This is how I booked my first domain and started blogging.
How many hours do you spend for your blog? How many blogs you are operating?
I am spending almost 13+ hours in day on my blogs. These days I am spending much of time exploring other blogs and reading the tips from them. I am operating 3 blogs now (Blogging Cage, Technobol, theDroidClub.com ) which are working great for me. Soon I am going to sale theDroidClub because managing 3 blogs is really a tedious task.
Would you like to tell about the most frustrating and most happy moment of your blogging career?
Frustration comes when you want to do something and that is not happening in the exact way. In starting days of blogging when I wanted to implemented one feature on my blog and after spending 4-5 days I was still not able to do that, that was the biggest frustration for me.
PS: Now I can do that task in 5 min only.
Money is the biggest happiness in this world (either you are agree with my statement or not).
One great quote, “Money is not everything, but you need money for everything.”
So that happy moment came in my life when I bought my Laptop, LCD Monitor, and Mobile and gave money to my parents.
If you were given a chance to meet a blogger who he would be?
I wanted to meet Jonathan Budd once in my life. He is my biggest inspiration. He is a mentor who teaches people how to make money online.
You must see this video once, if you want big inspiration.
This video is going to realize you that nothing is impossible in this world and you have unlimited power in you to achieve success.
What is your educational background?
I have done B.Tech in Electronics and Communication after taking diploma in same stream from Govt. Polytechnic, AmbalaCity.
According to you what is the biggest obstacle for newbie bloggers in India?
See obstacles are always there in life and overcoming them is called courage. From my point of view newbie are having issue with choosing niche. Most of the people are starting blogs on technology, gadgets, mobiles, laptops etc. because according to them this is the most profitable niche.
Blogging should be done with your passion and knowledge only. You should not teach people how to make money if you yourself are not making. If you love playing games then start a blog on games, if you are a sportsman then you must start a blog on sports because this will widen your knowledge too.
What would you suggest newbie bloggers regarding a career in blogging?
Blogging is the thing which needs time and passion both. If you are thinking that you will be rockstar after 5-6 months of blogging then you are wrong. Blogging takes almost 2-3 years to get success.
PS: Some people achieved success in short duration too. So go and study the life of those people and analyze how they did that.
Blogging is a great career and it would be always. Internet is expending day by day and we can find everything on internet now. So starting a blog to teach people is always a great idea.
This is the biggest truth in our society that our parents encourage us to get good job. So they are never going to say you, “Son, go and start blogging.”
All you have to do is prove yourself and show money to your parents and show them how popular you are on internet. This thing will make them feel proud and you will able to take your blogging to next level.
You can download my Blogging Domination Guide which is at FREE of cost to all of you. In this book I have shared basic steps of blogging and how you can monetize your blog.
Which one you prefer to monetize your blogs: Affiliate or Adsense?
I am neither into Affiliate Marketing nor do I use Adsense to monetize. My biggest source of earning is paid posts where companies contact me via my contact form. This method still helping me to achieve $1000+ per month.
What are your future plans?
My future plans are to take my blog to next bigger level and make such an identity that I can automate it. I am learning about affiliate marketing and after 3-4 month going to enter in this field. Because after one year of blogging I have learnt that you should not start the things about which don’t have any idea. So I am spading most of my time reading blogs and exploring affiliate methods.
